I'm still not 100% sure why i'd want one of these - not for $300, anyways. Better have one heck of a high-end amp for that price.
Well, this is an interesting turn of events. Earlier this morning we picked up a story regarding the new Google Nexus Q "media sphere" that the new device was now available on the Google Play Store. Since the device's cost of $299.99 seems a bit high to some, we figured we could post the story later this afternoon while we work on higher priority articles (sometimes you just have to develop a triage strategy for the daily news).
Surprisingly, the device has already sold out and is now saying it will ship in 2-3 weeks instead. Perhaps we underestimated the demand for the apparently intriguing device. Regardless, here is a link below if you would like to order one for yourself now. Sound off in the forums if you are excited about the Nexus Q.

It may have sold out, but did they happen to mention how many they had to sell? lol
I think it's a nice idea, and when it comes down to $99 it may be worth it.

The only dumb question is the one not asked.
Since all the attendies at the Google announcement got a Q for free, the $299 price for the rest of the world is to help offset that giveaway. I might pop for a Q at $199. For sure at $99.
