Nexus 10 - seems to have died overnight

Last night watched a video on my N10, then set the alarm, left the N10 on charge and went to sleep.

Alarm didn't go off this morning, but as I was then late I just thought that it had run out of charge (I had forgotten I'd left it on charge) .

This evening my N10 won't respond at all. I have tried holding power switch on for a minute, tried booting into recovery, tried plugging into PC... but nothing ... just a blank screen.... the charger is fine as it happily charges my N4, N7 and an HTC phone.

How can I resuscitate my N10... help needed.

Does it vibrate when you hold the power button down? Have you tried holding the power and volume buttons down and inserting the charger?

    No it doesn't vibrate.

However this morning when I hold the power down with the charger plugged in it shows the battery/charger image for a couple of seconds and then it disappears .... I will leave it charging while I am at work and will check it again later.

Good news ... when I got home from work (after the N10 had been on charge for a further day) - I tried holding down the power button again ... this time it did vibrate, so I knew it would then reboot....so it is now back to life..... just don't know why it seemed to have died whilst on charge in the first place.

Glad it is working again. Strange it happened. One of those mysteries of technology I guess. You know..."technology makes our lives easier" right hahaha ;-)

Had the same problem. If you are in the UK, you probably need a charger with a plastic earth prong, i.e. the big prong on the plug must not be metal. I've no idea why this is, but when I switched to such a charger, all my problems were solved. It may have something to do with the fact that some models which are made for the US market are shipped over for sale here. In the US, they don't often have three pin plugs.

It's true that some chargers work better than others, could be the cable alone too.
