Swap Contacts From Galaxy Ace to Nexus 4

    Hey folks,
Just got my new Nexus 4 yesterday and I am currently in the process of configuring it. One thing I want to do soon is to swap all my contacts over. However I do have them stored on the expansion card on my Ace. As the Nexus does not have one how do you transfer them across? Do you Bluetooth them or something? I have looked at the instructions and they don't appear very clear.
    Thanks alot.
    Malc

If you saved them as Google Contacts they will be there once you sync your new phone. If there not...like saved to phone or SIM...you can export your contacts to your SD Card as a .vcf file...than either transfer that file to your computer & plug in your Nexus & and move the file to your phone so you can import it or once on your computer, you can upload it to you Gmail Contacts Account (sign into Gmail & from the Gmail dropdown icon on left choose Contacts...you can upload it from there).

Thanks for the advice Lion7718. However I am finding a little tricky to transfer to the Nexus. I have switched the contacts from my Galaxy Ace via Kies and they are now held in my documents on my desktop computer in Excel format. I guess I'll have to just carry on until I can nail it. A friend of mine recently got a nexus, so maybe i'll take it to him and get him to show me how to do it.

It shouldn't be that difficult as both are android devices. Sync all of your contacts on the Ace to your google account the sync them to your nexus 4 using the same account. Or export them as a vcf file as suggested above and bluetoothe the file to your nexus 4

Settings/accounts/google/sync and you make sure that contracts are checked. After that with every account you sign in with your gmail (tablet, phone...) You will have your contacts
