Smile How to Remove System Update

Hello: I am new to this "forum". I am curious if anyone knows how to undo the system update for the nexus 4 phone? I have had nothing but problems since I updated it. My bluetooth won't turn on. The battery life is not as good. It won't connect in my car. If it connects, it drops the calls midstream. It is just a mess. If anyone knows how to restore it to the original without using info that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I'd do a factory reset, which will most likely fix it, but, anything not saved will be lost. No way to prevent that, even if 'downgrading'.

What I do is long press on System Update notification which shows "App Info", where It has option "Force Stop" and "Clear Data",
If you "Clear Data" it will removed from notification and will again appear in few days.

But with this "Clear Data" my Google Play Store sync somehow disturbed and currently it's not showing device when I browse play store through browser, but it works prerfectly in all other functions.

Boot into recovery and clear cache. System updates are stored in/cache directory.

I think op wants to downgrade his firmware. Not get rid of the notification.

That was my take on it. The problem is that they don't want to lose any data.... Downgrading would do that - as would a reset.
I'd reset before I'd go through the trouble of downgrading, especially since the data needs to be backed up anyway....

    Tami,
I would hold off on undoing the update. If you’re experiencing issues - such as apps crashing, reboots, or fast battery drain - on your device, they could be caused by a third-party app. To check if this is the case, you can start up your device in safe mode, which temporarily disables third-party apps that you've installed.

Ensure your device's screen is on, then press & hold the Power button.
Touch & hold the Power off option in the dialog box.
Touch OK in the following dialog to start safe mode.
Try using your device in safe mode to see if the problem persists. If it doesn't, restart your device to get it out of safe mode and uninstall recently installed apps to see if you can pinpoint the one that’s causing the problem.
