My nexus5 gets switched off once it reaches below 70 percentage and tries to start getting horizontal lines. After this I need to dry the battery to zero percentage keep it in a dry place for four days and again charge it and use it for working.. any solution for this.. 🤔
Its almost 3 years, but is there any way to check the battery status?? Also i have taken it to the nearby LG service center and the service guy gave me assurance it s not with the battery, and suggested it may be resolved if i change the complete board.
Not sure how you would test the battery under load, which is what is happening when you use it, however a replacement battery is inexpensive, compared to a replacement motherboard. I would try the battery replacement first. Personally after watching the current debacle with LG and the Nexus 5x bootloops, I'm not sure I trust them all that much anyway. They seem to like throwing motherboards at problems as a quick fix.
