I suspect they are referring to the compatibility of the device, i.e., A2DP capable (Bluetooth stereo) which almost all devices are now. Even c**pple finally caught up.

After I paired my Motorola Bluetooth headphones to my iPad, they automatically connect every time I turn them on. But on my Nexus 7 I have to re-pair them every time I want to use them. The Nexus 7 don't seem to remember that they were paired before. That's a pain, is there any way to make N7 remember previously paired devices?

Perhaps the problem lies with your headphones. My head/earphones connect automatically every time, as well as other peripherals. Are you certain that your headphones have actually paired?

I have a pair of Motorola 305s and they remain paired, but often take a long time to connect, and sometimes I have to go into the Bluetooth menu and force them to connect. Once connected, they work fine.

They work perfectly everytime on my LG Optimus phone.

Hmm. It's interesting that the problem occurs with Moto headphones. On a side note, I have a Moto BT keyboard that connects quickly each time.

The light on the headphones indicate they are paired and I can hear the music fine. It's only when using them after turning everything off that I have to pair them again.

That's really odd. I have seen occasions where some BT devices will not automatically connect, but they are still listed (successfully paired). So, once you've turned the headphones off, they are no longer listed under BT devices? I am not doubting you -- just scratching my head.

    Question

Bringing back a living dead thread!

I've been sporting my LG HBS-730's on my N7 since 4.2.1, but ever since the 4.2.2 upgrade I can't seem to get anything BT to work properly. Regular p-n-p headphones work (of course), but when it comes to using any BT devices... they sync and are recognized as being paired but that's about it. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and still no joy.
Does anyone have a work-around for this. I'm also sporting PacMan, although I don't really recall any bt issues with that particular rom.

    *Edit*
Nevermind. Just realized that there is a bug with the BT function with PacMan... Back to Smooth Rom V.5.1 w/ Motley #249 (gotta have my tunes!)
