Yes... that was the first thing I noticed. It's like they're not sized right for the screen, or they weren't ported "up" for the higher res screen... or somethin'.
This tablet is by far the best tablet I've used/owned. I do have one complaint though. The native wallpapers are terrible quality. Does anyone else think the wallpapers are VERY poor quality?

I did notice, actually. I downloaded them from a website to put on to my phone, but I noticed right away that they just looked kind of... off, idk. Kinda weird on Google's part!

I use HD wallpapers on my Galaxy nexus phone, so I copied some of my phone wallpapers to the tablet. They didn't look good. Then I thought that perhaps the app was sizing the WP to the device it is running on, so I downloaded the app to the tablet. Display problem solved.
I just got done checking out the so-called HD wallpapers in the market, and they looked anything but hd on my screen.
Try downloading the Wallbase application (free) and QuickPic (also free), that will give you access to millions of wallpapers with super easy cropping on your Nexus 7!!
