    MY LORDIE!!! That's a huge improvement! I'm glad Google took the time to fix those read/write problems on the new N7 we've been having with the Gen1 N7....it's too bad those who are keeping the Gen1 might not see those fixes.

    It's mostly in the hardware, it seems.
    Many feel that the 32G Gen1 was significantly faster than the 8 and 16. They claim that ASUS used 'substandard' memory in those....

    True. My 16GB was always a little sluggish until I rooted it and threw Lagfix on it. Although, I do admit that I always put a lot of stuff on it (tv shows, comics, apps, etc.).
