Get all three. Play with them. Then keep one and sell the others. Or find them on display somewhere and handle them. Would you buy a car without a test drive?
See which one meets your needs. Then buy the N7!

Welcome to the forum. I've had great luck with the N7. Others here have had some issues. Are you into rooting and flashing custom roms? If so, you may want to look around to see which has the most active development community. If you just want a tab to run stock then I'd take Amp's advice and see which one you like best.

Don't be afraid of rooting, which is especially easy on both generations of the Nexus 7. On any Android device it allows you to use Titanium Backup, and on a Nexus 7 it allows you to use a USB OTG adapter to hook up a flash drive.

I've heard the colors on the MemoPad aren't as good as the Nexus 7. For the same $150 I'd rather find a first-gen Nexus 7, which is rock solid, and flash something like CleanROM for a significant performance boost. The WikiPad sounds interesting but is pretty pricey for just a Tegra 3 and 1280x800.

To be fair, though, the other 2 have SD storage capability.
A major factor for those who don't want their storage hanging out...

I'd have really liked that with both N7 generations, but with what I consider to be legs up on the competition, I can live with something sticking out a little.

I pre-ordered one of those Meenovas, whose shipping date got pushed out to 9/15. It shouldn't be too obtrusive and should look nice.
